Crafts and Fun Stuff

So I was watching the news one morning (I have to watch the news in the morning, I have to know if something important is going on) and they said that on Wednesdays in September you can get in to the Phoenix Zoo for free with your wonderful Fry's card. So of course I packed up the kids and went two weeks in a row. As you can see, Allison loved it. (I would love it more with a sit-n-stand stroller!)

Then I happened to be at the Mesa Public Library at the right time and happened to check and there was a Culture Pass to check out for the new Phoenix Children's Museum. We had to go on a Saturday because it was closing for two weeks. But it's really fun and my favorite part is that there are nice people who work there whose job is to clean up after your kids!
There is this house that the kids just paint over and over...they like it.

This is Mckenzie's favorite part...grocery shopping. She started pushing and yelling at the kids when she wanted to be the cashier or if they were in her way.

I found this awesome tutorial on YouTube on how to make a NO-SEW tutu! (I don't own a sewing machine and always seem to break any one that I borrow.) Anyways, it was eazy-peazy and I did it all in one day, even doing part of it with Will and Mckenzie in my face and I still didn't mess up!
I'm excited for Mckenzie to see the finished product! It's going to double as a dress-up and Halloween costume.
Here's the address for the tutorial:

Now I need to find a tutorial for a cape for Will (aka SuperWill, or Will-man)...any ideas?

Randomness

Here's just a little bit of what's been going on lately:

Allison loves solid food. She would probably keep eating forever if I let her.

Daddy and Allison tired out after a long day. Allison loves to snuggle.

My little Goldilocks.

Will's first day of preschool. The newness wore off after the first day and now it's back to normal.

Enjoying the end of summer (I hope...how long do the 100 degree days last?) I was blowing up the pool and the kids couldn't find Mckenzie's swimsuit so Will put one of his on Mckenzie.
