Easter Fun

Will had the day off of school on Friday so we decided to play. I actually overheard him a few days before telling his sisters that we were going to the zoo on Friday. This boy makes plans! But instead of braving the warmer weather, we tried out the new aquarium at Arizona Mills Mall. (I also had discounts...makes it even better!) So here are a few pics we got:

Will was nervous about the sharks, even before we went. So I was surprised when he was happy about this glass pane you walk on above the sharks!


I got the kids in front of this huge crab. You can't really tell in the picture, but they were huge! Japanese Spider Crabs


Here were some "tidal pools" where we got to hold starfish and touch other animals. I thought it was cool and the kids liked it too.

Now for Easter stuff:

We did the traditional egg coloring. (We also had a traditional egg breaking...everyone accidentally broke an egg.)







We also had an Easter egg hunt at one grandparents' house...

New Finds

Dave and I went out for my birthday and we decided to try something new. We went to La Parilla Suiza, a mexican restaurant. It was really good! It's always a risk to try something new, especially when you don't eat out much! So we were pleasantly surprised.

Also, we just started the free month trial with Netflix, since we were getting Redbox movies all the time anyways. So far we really like it and watch a movie almost every evening. (I know...but we're just so tired that it's hard to be motivated to do anything else!) Anyways, I found a movie that was cute and very clean...I wouldn't be surprised if it was made by Mormons. So I just thought I'd share. It was called My Girlfriend's Boyfriend. It's a fun romantic comedy that is clean! and cute. (The guy is from The Other Side of Heaven.)
