Projects

I found this chair at Goodwill for $10 many months ago and couldn't pass it up.  I thought it had potential for cuteness.  These are the befores...I didn't get one with the seat, but picture some ugly wicker weaved across, coming apart, and the same ugly brown color as the chair.

I finally finished it today!  Just some black spray paint and primer and some Walmart cloth woven across for a seat.  Much better.

Another Goodwill shopping trip...  I found a skirt for me, but decided that I probably would never wear it.  So I modified it to be a dress for Mckenzie.  It's not perfect, but definitely wearable and she likes it.  I was excited to be able to make something without a pattern or specific tutorial. :)

 Mckenzie graduated from preschool in May.  I'm still not sure that I'm ready for her to go to kindergarten...well, I guess she can go :)

 Megan is actually being happy!  I had to document it :)

 Mckenzie had a birthday party for birthday #5.  It's June in Mesa...water party!  We had several sprinklers set up, as well as 300 water balloons.  I think that she had fun!

 Megan got to come to the pool with us.  She's also showing off one of her favorite things to do...suck her toes.  She does this constantly.

This was today.  She would smile and then by the time the camera took a picture, her smile was gone.  But I still thought her blue eyes were cute.
