Birthday!

Allison had her first birthday on Wednesday!


She didn't want to leave my lap...she is very much a mama's girl.


This girl loves her food! I love to watch her eat...she just enjoys it so much.


I had to get a video of this. It was so cute/funny/sad to watch. Mckenzie missed her nap on Saturday and by dinner was just worn out. (I let her sleep right after this.)

Spring is Here!

Yeah, it's spring! The kids can play outside now without getting cold (I know, cold for Arizona).

We (or me) is trying to figure out how to make our house more inviting outside. I want to paint, but want to leave it a light color. And I really want a red door. And a bench that's not camping chairs. We have at least one more season of the vegetable garden in that little plot and then I will put flowers and some greenery there. Any suggestions? For not a ton of money?


Allison is getting braver about standing up and walking with things. I've found her actually pushing this shopping cart sometimes, although I didn't get it on camera. She's almost walking!
