Introducing...

Allison Montague was born Tuesday, March 10 at 10:27am at Banner Gateway hospital. She was 8 pounds 3 ounces and only one day overdue.

She loves to sleep a lot, although she still has her days and nights mixed up.

Her brother and sister are so excited to finally have her here! They can't get enough of her.

Mckenzie loves to beg to hold her little sister..."Please!"

I kept expecting Allison to come a little early, since Mckenzie was 10 days early, and I wasn't really taking it easy. We were even able to plant a garden last Saturday, partly to try to get me to go into labor. Monday evening, I was having contractions, about 8 min. apart so we went to the hospital. Almost as soon as we got in the car, my contractions slowed down and they ended up sending us home after about 2 hours at the hospital. I was able to get about 5 hours sleep that night until I woke up around 2 or 3am with contractions...strong ones. I waited about an hour or so to tell Dave, then we even waited after that...we didn't want to get sent home again. Finally, they were so strong I couldn't take it anymore so we went to the hospital. We got there about 7:30am and I was dilated to a 5 so they took me up and got me ready for an epidural. By the time I finally got it I was about a 7 and they told me that I just made it in time to get one...thank goodness! Those contractions were killing me! We had to wait a little bit for the doctor, who was in surgery, and then Allison was born at 10:27, almost 3 hours after we got to the hospital.
Anyways, I only spent one night in the hospital...I was very ready to come home. Dave has had to work some but has been a great help around the house and with the kids! Also, our parents have both watched the kids and done dinners for us...thank you so much! Today I've been on my own with all three, but so far we've survived. The house is a mess, but we're doing fine. Thank you to everyone who has helped with dinners too...it's wonderful to be able to not have to worry about feeding everyone when I'm trying to constantly feed the baby and keep my energy up.
We're all doing well and trying to slowly adjust and get back to normal. We love having our sweet little girl here!

Congratulations!! So happy that Allison finally made her debut for you ;) And that, from the sounds of it, labor and delivery went fairly quick. Yay for that! :D Praising God for His blessing on your family and for the healthy baby girl He has given to you!

congrats, again! :) love all the pics, but i think my favorite is the one of McKenzie holding her---something about a "baby" holding a baby. (aaahhhwwww! adorable!)

i'm amazed that you were still able to post on your first day alone with all three! You are superwoman!

Wish I was closer to bring you a meal or clean a bathroom or somethin'---well, at least bring a meal! ha ha! Unfortunately, I'm afraid the fish n'chips would be rather soggy and stale by the time you got them.

thanks for writing a bit about the delivery too. always love to hear how it went. & glad you made it in time to get the epidural! phew! I remember how awful it was to get sent home. How depressing is that?! hated it! I feel your pain! Anyways, better safe than sorry---Sounds like it all worked out OK in the end.

take care of yourself and try to rest if you can. xxx

What a cutie. She looks just like Mckenzie did. But not the skinny chicken legs. Call me if you need me to come take your kids for a couple hours so you can rest.
